Sports gambling has many benefits; for example, you can win so much money that it will make you feel like you won the lottery. However, I fear that the downside might be even darker than the common knowledge of losing your money due to a player’s statistics. I believe that gambling is like a drug, once you try it a few times your body will start to want it more just to feel the temporary satisfaction. Instead of affecting the body and inserting stuff into your body like drugs, gambling affects not only the mind but everyone and everything around you in your personal life.

It was banned for so long because of a federal law called the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act, also known as the Bradley Act, named after 1983 NBA Hall of Fame Inductee Bill Bradley, signed into law by President George H.W. Bush.

The first would be that you can gain more thrill and excitement while watching the game; most sports fans will want to enjoy the game no matter if they’re or not, praying it’ll end up being competitive all the time. Sometimes, you are not going to get all those competitive games that you are from, and in my opinion, sports betting, when it is a blowout, still brings that competitive aspect to the game but from a fan’s perspective.
