Going into week 3 of the college football season, we have Georgia at no.1; The question is, will Georgia be able to hold this spot like they have in recent years?
Embed from Getty ImagesThere is a little nuance on who’s top 5 right now, but it seems like on everyone’s list, Georgia without is no.1 Notre Dame is said to be 3rd in the rankings with the Texas Longhorns at 5th. Most lists you will see have the opposite. Penn State, Oregon Ducks, and Ole Miss all seem to be fighting to get into the top 5 on the list, but all agreeable 6-9 on the top 25 rankings.
Embed from Getty ImagesHeading up on the list begins to get a bit more nuanced with spots 9-12. Miami is as high as 10 on ESPN but as low as 12 on the coaches poll. Michigan was agreeably 9-11 on the verified rankings and the exact same with Missouri, so those two teams were neck and neck; now Missouri is agreeably 6-8. Georgia obviously flexed its muscles in the win over an unranked Tennessee team. An exciting matchup was Texas previously (3) and Michigan previously (10).
Embed from Getty ImagesMichigan suffered a loss, with the final score being 31-12, and plummeting to 17, while Texas moved up one to the No. 2 spot. Clearly, Michigan won’t be undefeated like it was last year.
